Travailing in the Spirit

When we think of the word TRAVAIL, we might associate that word with the thought of intense laboring -the preparation of bearing a child. And, with every physical pregnancy there is a process of changes and development both internally and externally, a lots of discomfort, to say the least.

John 16:21
21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

The very seed that develops within her, she may not know exactly how ALL the DNA intwines together that makes the characteristic traits of that child that is growing inside, she may not know exactly what the seed may look like in every detail, but still, she has the satisfaction within her of knowing that the seed she is to bear physically, is life-giving and precious.

In the same way of giving human life, God wants us to see our spiritual life-giving promises come to pass through the same process by Faith. In the discomforts, in the stretching, in our weakness, He plants His seed.

When there is an earnest desire that causes our hearts to take on a deep burden within ourselves, it‘s spiritual travailing from Him placing His desires within us.

As His desires begin to form, so does the yearnings of His promise wanting to break forth. And from my experience, this is where your Faith and works come together.

Spiritual Travailing = is the point of bringing forth a supernatural strength formed within to produce a seed of promise.

Jesus Christ showed us His travailing reasoning in Isaiah 53:11

Scriptures say,

“He travailed so that He would see the fruit that came from the travail of His soul and was satisfied by His knowledge through what He experienced was of worth because it justified you and I, many, back to His Father and by laboring in the Spirit it allowed Him to bear the iniquities and the guilt of many, making many righteous before God."

And because we have His Spirit within in us, The Holy Spirit will also cause us to be burden within our hearts ...

that scriptures say

“In the same way, the Spirit also helps us in our weakness; for we do not know what prayers to offer nor in what way to offer them. But the Spirit Himself pleads for us in yearnings that can find no words,”
...“With groanings which cannot be uttered."

When we Travail in the Spirit or Labor in the Spirit its the effects of aligning those desires that has been set forth in our heart to the will of the Father by His Heavenly word.

When our prayers get too deep and too intense for words, it is a level of intensity marked by a Holy Spirit burden to actually bring to pass a seed of promise that God has given to us, prompted by the Spirit Himself.

It is He who is praying to God for us so that we may see the fruit that comes from the travailing of our soul. I want to encourage you today, the desire or the desires God has placed in your heart, keep Travailing, you will soon birth your promise.
